Why This Work Exists

Abena Apau, MBA

Founder & CEO

Abena Apau is the Founder and CEO of Strategy Doula™, where she helps purpose-driven organizations clarify strategy, align culture, and translate intent into coordinated action that drives meaningful and sustainable results. She partners with leaders navigating complexity and change, bringing clarity to what is happening inside their organizations and helping them make decisions that hold under pressure. As an organizational strategist and culture and implementation advisor, she works with executive teams to build alignment and accountability, connect values to how work gets done, and ensure follow-through so plans lead to lasting outcomes. With more than 20 years of experience across consulting and government, including work at PricewaterhouseCoopers, she brings both rigor and practical insight to her work, helping organizations build systems that allow people to do their best work.

Clau González, PhD

Chief Organizational Scientist

Clau González is a workforce strategy and organizational transformation leader who helps institutions turn human potential into sustained performance. With a PhD in strategy and over 15 years of experience advising senior leaders in complex, mission-driven environments, she translates management science into practical, high-impact decisions about how organizations are designed, led, and experienced. Her work integrates people analytics, strategy, and systems thinking to help leaders see clearly, act decisively, and build environments where people can do their best work. Known for combining rigor with deep respect for the human experience at work, Clau partners with organizations to align strategy, culture, and operations in ways that are both effective and enduring.
