What if success could feel different?
For many high-achieving women, success comes with expectations that accumulate over time. We learn to perform, deliver, lead, and adapt. We become skilled at meeting the needs of our organizations, families, and communities.
Yet there are moments when we begin to question whether the strategies that brought us here are the ones that will carry us forward.
Perhaps you’re navigating a new leadership role, reconsidering your relationship with work, or recognizing that your ambitions and priorities are changing.
You may not need to work harder or accomplish more. You may need space to consider what matters now.
Beyond Achievement creates that space.
This workshop is an opportunity to step outside the demands of everyday life, reflect on what flourishing means to you, and begin translating that understanding into intentional action.
A framework for meaningful Change
At Strategy Doula, we believe sustainable transformation requires more than insight. It involves understanding what matters, making choices that reflect those priorities, and developing the capacity to navigate change.
During this workshop, we’ll introduce three interconnected elements of our approach.
01. Clarity
Explore what flourishing means to you, beyond conventional measures of success.
Through guided reflection, you’ll begin identifying the values, aspirations, and priorities that can serve as your personal North Star.
02. Alignment
Consider where your current ways of working, leading, and living support your priorities and where they may be creating tension.
You’ll identify one meaningful shift that could bring your everyday choices into closer alignment with what matters.
03. Capacity
Transformation requires more than knowing what to do. It also requires the capacity to respond to challenges, uncertainty, and competing demands.
You’ll explore accessible grounding practices, including nature-inspired approaches that can be incorporated into a busy workday.
Two hours dedicated to what comes next
This isn’t a lecture about how to become more productive or achieve more.
It’s a facilitated experience combining organizational science, strategic reflection, and embodied practices to help you consider how you want to lead and live.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll engage in guided reflection, explore practical tools, and develop your own Mini Shift Blueprint.
Your blueprint will help you capture:
Your North Star
What flourishing looks like for you.
Your opportunity for change
One area where greater alignment would make a difference.
Your next step
A practical action or supportive practice you can begin using immediately
You don’t need to arrive with all the answers. The workshop is designed to help you begin asking more useful questions.
This workshop is for you if…
- You’re a high-achieving woman who has invested deeply in your career, leadership, or the people around you, and you’re ready to give more intentional attention to yourself.
- You might be navigating a transition, questioning long-held definitions of success, or exploring how to lead effectively without sacrificing your well-being.
- You don’t need to be considering a dramatic career change. Sometimes transformation begins with a small shift in perspective, priorities, or practice.
- Whether you’re reimagining your next chapter or simply seeking greater alignment in the one you’re living, this workshop offers a structured place to begin.
Guided by science. Grounded in humanity.
The Beyond Achievement workshop is guided by Abena Apau, MBA and Clau González, PhD, MBA, the founders of Strategy Doula.
Strategy Doula guides people through consequential moments of transition.
We combine the rigor of organizational science, strategic thinking, somatic awareness, and the deeply human support of a doula to help people navigate change with greater clarity, alignment, and capacity.
Our approach starts with the person. We believe that when people have the conditions to flourish, they are better positioned to lead, contribute, and create meaningful change in the organizations and communities around them.
Our role isn’t to prescribe who you should become. It’s to help you move intentionally toward the life and leadership you want to create.

Make space for what matters.
Two hours may not answer every question about what’s next, but they can provide a meaningful starting point.
Join us for an opportunity to reflect, reconnect, and begin designing your next shift.
